Warming Hearts Through Charity Towards the 2024 Flood Areas with Jera Vietnam and Meaningful Activities

On September 12, 2024, Jera Vietnam Co., Ltd. officially launched a support plan for its employees and their families affected by the floods following Typhoon Yagi’s landfall. This storm had the strongest winds in recent years, causing severe damage to both lives and property. Amid the floods and rising waters, Jera Vietnam responded to the government’s call to assist those suffering in the northern mountainous provinces.

Giving with All Our Hearts

Jera Vietnam contributed nearly 50 million VND to support the people of the northern provinces affected by Typhoon Yagi. This contribution included donations from the Warehouse – Accounting Department, Sales Department, Marketing Department, and the Assistant – Director’s Office. In the spirit of compassion, the funds were directly sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s account.

More Than Just Concern

Before this, due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi, Jera Vietnam also allowed its office staff in Hanoi to work from home to avoid any risks from extreme weather. This was a proactive step by the company’s management to minimize human and material damage and reduce the pressure on rescue and relief teams during the complex and potentially devastating storm conditions.

In addition, the company supported employees whose hometowns were in the areas affected by Typhoon Yagi. This support included essential supplies, necessary items, and small financial encouragement for families in disaster-stricken areas, helping them quickly recover and stabilize their lives.
